Jeff Kehoe is a highly accomplished senior executive and legal professional with over 25 years of expertise in financial services regulation, specializing in litigation strategy, organizational transformation, and data analytics. Most recently, Mr. Kehoe served as the Enforcement Director at the Ontario Securities Commission, where he led a multidisciplinary team of 180 professionals with a budget of $30 million. In this role, he transformed the enforcement branch into a data-driven, agile structure, implementing innovative programs such as Canada’s first paid whistleblower initiative.
Prior to his tenure at the Ontario Securities Commission, Mr. Kehoe was the Director and Vice President of Enforcement at the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), overseeing Canadian capital markets and leading a national enforcement program. His earlier career includes significant experience as a Crown Attorney and Senior Litigation Counsel at the Department of Justice Canada.
Mr. Kehoe has served as the Chair of the Ontario Capital Growth Corporation. He also held the position of Managing Partner and General Counsel at Difference Capital Financial Inc., where he co-managed the firm's operations, including legal, risk management, compliance, and securities transactions.
Mr. Kehoe's academic credentials are extensive. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor, a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy, and a Master of Laws specializing in securities law from Osgoode Hall Law School. Additionally, he earned his ICD.D designation from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto and received securities regulation training from Harvard University.
